From the heart of Grande Champagne near Segonzac, this cognac was distilled on very small wood-fired stills and left to age naturally for over seventy years. Completely unreduced, it has a rich candied fruit character and a long, spiced rancio that lingers. Matured in small Limousin oak casks in damp cellars, this is a rare and authentic expression of nineteenth century Grande Champagne craftsmanship.
